We regularly have the system audited to ensure that we are still working efficiently and effectively. The objective of IATF 16949 is to encourage continuous improvement, minimize variation, reduce waste, and prevent errors. However, as with ISO 9001, the overall objective is to introduce process-based thinking, thereby improving the quality of business operations.
