Quality & expertise
Quality and expertise are the driving force behind everything we do at Timmerije. Our products, processes, and organization meet the strictest quality standards and are continuously being developed. We maintain the reliability of our processes through international guidelines, structured audits, and a process-based approach. This ensures that every product meets the exact specifications and that our customers can count on consistent quality.
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949
International guidelines such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 provide guidance on quality, the environment, and continuous improvement. ISO 9001 helps companies organize their processes in a clear and efficient manner, ensuring that products are consistently high quality. ISO 14001 focuses on environmentally conscious working practices and reducing the impact on the environment. IATF 16949, specifically for the automotive industry, encourages the reduction of errors, the limitation of waste, and the continuous improvement of processes. Together, these guidelines ensure that companies can work in a structured, reliable, and responsible manner.
International quality standards
At Timmerije, we guarantee the quality of our products, processes, and organization with the support of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and IATF 16949:2016. By regularly auditing our system, we check whether our working methods are still efficient and effective and, where necessary, we implement improvements immediately. IATF 16494 focuses on stimulating continuous improvement, minimizing variation, reducing waste, and preventing errors. ISO 19001 focuses on process-based thinking, which means that the quality of our business operations is constantly evolving. In this way, we ensure that our customers can count on products that are consistently high quality, that processes run smoothly, and that we treat our organization and environment responsibly.
Molds and maintenance
At Timmerije, we consider molds to be the foundation of our injection molding process. They determine the precision, repeatability, and lifespan of every plastic product. That is why we invest in high-quality molds, built according to our own standards and specifications. We maintain these molds with the utmost care. This maintenance process consists not only of periodic inspections and cleaning. We also carry out any necessary repairs and adjustments immediately, so that minor problems do not affect the production process.
Everything is accurately documented and our employees follow strict procedures, ensuring that the performance of the molds remains consistent. This allows our molds to continue to perform optimally, minimizes production interruptions, and ensures that our customers can always count on products of consistent quality.
Our own tool shop
Timmerije has its own tool shop, where we can maintain and modify molds internally if necessary. Our tool shop is equipped with modern equipment, enabling us to carry out preventive maintenance and repairs immediately. Thanks to this in-house approach, we can respond quickly in the event of emergencies, maintain the high quality of the molds, and prevent production interruptions as much as possible. This provides our customers with the following benefits:
- Fast turnaround times: Adjustments or repairs can be carried out immediately, without having to rely on external parties.
- High quality: Because we have complete control over the production and maintenance of the molds, we can guarantee the highest quality.
- Flexibility: We can respond quickly to design changes or new projects, enabling products to be manufactured faster.
- Cost savings: By performing internal maintenance and repairs, we limit transport costs and external interventions.
- Continuity: With an in-house tool shop, we minimize downtime and ensure a reliable production process.
Project-based working
To ensure the success of your plastic injection molding product, we have a project organization at our disposal. In this collaborative form, we actively exchange knowledge and provide you with advice, with the aim of making your plastic injection molding product suitable for series production. We set up a project team from various disciplines: product development, mold development, process development, and purchasing/sales. In addition to manufacturability, you also have immediate access to figures to help you make investment decisions.
We opt for a multidisciplinary approach to avoid late changes as much as possible. This results in the use of the right resources to achieve a high-quality product. For our IATF 16949 customers, we work according to the APQP methodology.
The APQP methodology
APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), also known as project management, is a structured method for defining and determining the necessary steps that must be carried out during the development of a product or preparation of a production process. This also applies to your plastic injection molding product. By working according to the APQP methodology, we offer you a structure for effective communication between all parties involved. This ensures that every step is completed on time.
Before we start series production of your plastic injection molded product, both the product and the associated production process must be approved. We use the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) procedure for this, which includes the delivery of all associated documentation. The PPAP file demonstrates that Timmerije fully understands and complies with your customer-specific requirements. Together with a product sample, this is clearly summarized in a Part Submission Warrant (PSW) form.
Our environmental policy statement
At Timmerije, we ensure compliance with all relevant environmental rules and legislation. In addition, we are actively committed to contributing to local and national environmental objectives. We maintain good and open communication with (local) authorities and local residents on this subject.
In all our business activities, we take the best technical and economically sound measures possible to limit adverse effects on the environment. For our injection molding processes, we focus primarily on important environmental aspects such as noise, energy consumption, waste, and water. Preventing and controlling environmental impact, combined with continuously improving our environmental performance, is an important focus in our business operations.
Every employee is aware of our environmental policy and acts in accordance with it. Our environmental policy is available to third parties and is regularly reviewed to ensure that it remains up to date and appropriate.
