Building installations

Terug

From ventilation housings to heating components, every building installation is unique and every project requires customization. Timmerije develops plastic components that contribute to energy-efficient, reliable, and maintenance-friendly systems that fit perfectly into the overall installation. Our expertise in injection molding and co-engineering ensures results-oriented solutions that prove their value in practice.

Our approach to building installations

Building installations place high demands on plastic components. They must be able to withstand temperature fluctuations, endure long periods of use, and function accurately within complex systems. At Timmerije, we combine in-depth knowledge of materials, injection molding technology, and system integration to develop solutions that meet these stringent requirements and support the performance of the entire installation.

Examples of applications

Our plastic solutions are used in a wide range of building installation components. They contribute to reliable, energy-efficient, and sustainable systems that are used intensively on a daily basis. From smart solutions that optimize the operation of installations to sustainable components that deliver long-term results:

  • Ventilation – durable components for optimal airflow
  • Heating – components that deliver long-lasting performance
  • Electrical installation – for a safe electricity supply
  • Light tunnels – robust components for reliable light transmission

Customer case: Compress 5800i AWR – Bosch

Timmerije has contributed to the development and design of various plastic visible parts for Bosch’s high-efficiency boilers. Since April 2023, the company has been operating under the name Bosch Home Comfort Group, a name that emphasizes their leading position in the field of green technologies. With this, Bosch not only underlines its commitment to innovative and energy-efficient solutions, but also its responsibility to society, the environment, and everyday life.

“Our long-standing, sustainable collaboration has resulted in designs that have always been prepared for the future.”

Timmerije recently developed plastic housing components for a new Bosch heat pump, the Compress 5800i AWR. The large honeycomb outer section posed a particular challenge. It had to be both flat and visually appealing. During the development process, attention was paid to material selection, flow simulations with warpage calculations, and production processes that are consistent and controllable. As a result, the components are technically robust and aesthetically pleasing.

The Compress 5800i AWR is an important innovation for Bosch Home Comfort Group. The abbreviation ‘AWR’ stands for ‘Air Water Rooftop’ and is specially designed for sloping roofs. With this solution, Bosch is actively responding to the energy transition and helping to heat both homes and commercial buildings more efficiently and sustainably. The plastic housing components contribute to the reliability and long service life of the heat pump, making it a future-proof solution.

Collaborations that make an impact

In addition to Bosch, Timmerije collaborates with leading brands such as Remeha, Brink Climate Systems, and Zehnder. These manufacturers develop innovative systems for heating, ventilation, and climate control in homes and commercial buildings. As a co-engineer, Timmerije contributes ideas from the design phase onwards about the manufacturability, choice of materials, and service life of plastic injection-molded parts. This results in high-quality components that contribute to efficient production, a strong brand image, and an optimal indoor climate.

Brink Climate Systems develops innovative ventilation solutions for a healthy indoor climate, ranging from central to decentralized systems with or without heat recovery (HR). More and more components in these systems are made of plastic because of its design flexibility, hygiene, low weight, and ease of installation. Timmerije plays an important role in this by contributing ideas at an early stage about manufacturability, material selection, and sustainability. Together, we create future-proof ventilation products that meet Brink’s high standards and contribute to the circular economy.

Zehnder develops ventilation systems for a healthy and comfortable indoor climate in homes and commercial buildings and supports customers in applying the BENG regulations for energy-efficient construction projects. In collaboration with Timmerije, technically reliable plastic injection molded products have been developed. Attention has also been paid to efficient production, material selection, tolerances, and logistics optimization. This integrated collaboration enables products to be brought to market quickly, meet high quality standards, and contribute to a healthy, comfortable, and energy-efficient indoor climate.

Remeha develops innovative and energy-efficient solutions for climate control, heating, and hot water in homes and commercial buildings. In doing so, the company actively responds to the current and future needs of users. In collaboration with Timmerije, plastic visible parts, the front and control units for various boiler types, such as the Quinta, Calenta, and Tzerra, have been brought to a high level of quality. Thanks to the use of subassemblies according to the Kanban principle, these parts can be efficiently integrated into the production process. At the same time, they meet the strict requirements for functionality, brand image, and reliability.
